Carl Lentz, lead pastor of Hillsong Church in NYC, recently met with Jay-Z along with NBA star and Christian Kevin Durant and apparently defended the controversial rapper against Illuminati claims…while simultaneously taking shots at his Roc-A-Fella Records label?

Pastor Lentz shared this photo online recently, writing:
“Solid Monday.. Excited for @easymoneysniper and S. Carter and what lies ahead..We also called Santa Claus who texted the Easter Bunny who confirmed what we thought about the Illuminati.Those guys def know the truth. “EasyMoneySniper” in this case is Kevin Durant, who was apparently baptized by Lentz at Hillsong NYC. Durant wrote his own message in a share of the photo:
“HGB’s (Hillsong Gangster Bloods) #LoveThyNeighbour”
But Lentz, apparently believes the Illuminati rumors that have been plaguing Jay-Z (and many other recording artists) for years are laughable and pure fantasy… like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
He also referenced Isaiah 26:4 while using the hashtag “the ROCK has always been in the building.” The Bible passage reads:
“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”
Fudge it all you like Carl, a picture says a thousand words!
Needless to say… the photos sparked debates over Jay-Z and the existence of the Illuminati on Durant’s account, while Lentz’s page was over-run with suggestions that he is a poser or being unbiblical by hanging out with Jay-Z.
Meanwhile Justin Bieber has been hanging out with Lentz as well, and cried during one of the services where Lentz preached.
Now he’s in the October 2013 issue of Details magazine.

“He is going to be huge,” predicts today’s guest speaker, Priscilla Shirer, a 38-year-old minister. A rising star in her own right, Shirer was flown in from Dallas to lighten Lentz’s load. He normally preaches at all six Irving Plaza services, beginning at 10 A.M., with lines of devotees wrapped around the block for each one. But today he is leading only the last three services because he’s running on three hours of sleep, having just returned from the annual Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia.
