A few days ago I questioned Carl Lentz’s choice of his interesting and controversial Shirt/Singlet with IMAGINE ALL THE PEOPLE on the front

My eye was drawn to the photo of Carl Lentz and pop artist Justin Beiber, showing the infamous T Shirt (Go to above link)

Bieber wrote on his Instagram page:
“Me and my homies @ryangood24 and @carllentz at lunch talking bout our savior Jesus Christ”
Now I questioned the T Shirt that Lentz was wearing, and this was the reply back from Carl Lentz himself.

Really ? A little of googling of your own will soon show clearly that Lennon has been the owner of this phrase “IMAGINE” for 50 years.

Carl Lentz’ reply stating that John Lennon doesn’t own the phrase is grasping at straws.

Well, this next piece is interesting — if not somewhat creepy.
Justin Bieber’s sweet dreams were apparently caught on camera by a girl who might have been his bedmate. A video titled, “Justin Bieber sleeping with girl in Brasil” has popped up on YouTube and it is quickly gaining viewers.
The 15-second clip features the 19-year-old pop star sleeping in his hotel room, then the camerawoman turns the lens on herself, smiles, and blows the superstar singer a kiss before the video cuts out. Bieber’s lady friend has been identified by Perez Hilton as Tati Neves.

I’m sorry, but this is complete garbage. You say Lentz is “grasping for straws” in his response, but it seems as if you’re grasping for straws. Lentz never wore the second t-shirt that you show. It’s very easy to sit behind a computer screen and continue to criticize people. One thing that Lentz is doing right is he is pursuing Jesus with everything that he has and he’s sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re all perfect far from perfect and we all need the undeserved grace from our Savior, but to sit and nit-pick does nothing but cause division. Why don’t you use your time instead to encourage others, share the gospel, and write about pastors who are doing it right and stop with the conspiracy theories. We as Christians are to whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable. You know? Philippians 4:8

As a way of brief reply, I am not here to nit pik, but rather to bring to light the loose and flabby ideas of what are defined as Christianity today.
We are being slowly poisoned. Like the lobster in the pot, the water temperature is slowly increased til it’s all too late. This tidal wave of profanity and corruption, is seeking to carry away every hint of genuine Christian community. These men are swayed by the fashion of Hollywood, and not the inner life of Christ.
A.W. Tozer was right when he concluded, “Religion today is not transforming people; rather it is being transformed by the people. It is not raising the moral level of society; it is descending to society’s own level, and congratulating itself that it has scored a victory because society is smilingly accepting its surrender.”
It’s amazing how something so young and vibrant can tickle the ears of so many people. I can’t believe he said that Jesus not quoting anything about homosexuality, Jesus said
“Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. And
“For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
Jesus did come for the sinners and He did have flocks of people around him, but Jesus did not have a rock band, flashing lights, smoke machines, buckets to collect all the tithes, I wonder what would happen if the band was taken away, the smokes machines the lights and the pastor only got up to read from the bible, he would lose most of his congregation, because most of the followers including so called media stars are there for a feel good experience, they don’t want to hear about their lifestyle and how they live in sin! 2 Corinthians 11:3-7
I wonder what would happen if they preached about the second coming of Jesus, because this time He is not coming back for the sinners, but for his people and all those that still live in sin (homosexuals) will perish.
Jesus even said to the woman in adultery “She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more”
and sin no more!!
