Justin ‘Believer’ Bieber to perform… from the pulpit
“Justin Bieber is planning a series of new performances… delivering sermons from the pulpit of his favourite church.
The pop brat claims to have turned over a new leaf after qualifying as a lay preacher following an intensive, three-month bible study course.
And he even wants to bring TV cameras into L.A.’s trendy Hillsong Church so he can preach to the masses and spread the good word as a part-time televangelist.
Bieber, who turns 21 next Sunday, has helped Hillsong become the first church in history to be signed by top Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavor.
The agency, whose megastar clients include Robert De Niro, Ben Affleck, John Travolta, Taylor Swift and Kanye West, is already reportedly negotiating a prime time small screen slot on Sundays with two networks.
And, to help boost ratings, The Bieb has offered to help the staff clergy by reading sermons and even appealing for donations on camera.
Hillsong is a Pentecostal church that was founded in Australia in 1983 by married pastors Brian and Bobby Houston and quickly achieved popularity through its pop-style worship music, selling more than 12 million Christian records worldwide.
It now draws 100,000 attendees to services in 11 countries every week, including at the Belasco Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, where keen devotee Bieber has brought several fellow celebrities.
These include his former girlfriend, 22-year-old singer Selena Gomez, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens (26) and Glee star Lea Michelle (28), who has raved about Hillsong’s “amazing vibe”.
Bieber claims the church has “transformed” his life after two years of bad boy behaviour around the world that landed him in several legal scrapes and even punch-ups with rival stars like Orlando Bloom.
He said: “I’ve done a few things that might not have been the greatest. But I’m ready to own up to them.”
So lets recap on the key points;
- Justin over the last year or so has sought to get his life turned around, not any easy feat for anyone, particularly a young ,man in the spotlight like Justin
- He was supposedly baptised in some hotel pool with the ‘guidance; and instruction of Carl Lentz Hillsong’s New York pastor
- A year ago Justin was trying to get himself out of a pickle on possessing Marijuana, and damning drink driving offences.
- The ‘boy’ has been going to Judah Smith bible studies along with ex Selena Gomez, so everything looks like its turning around for Justin…?
But to jump from this to being a lay preacher after some 3 months ‘intensive’ bible course, is a huge ask.
To quote Neil Armstrong ‘one small step for a man. one giant leap..’ for all of Christiandom to believe he’s ready, beyond some small 20 min seminette. Paul the Apostle spent 3 years in the desert of Arabia unlearning all his rabbinical teaching , which was the foundation of his New Testament letters.
I mean how is Justin going to get past a few amens, and a ‘Praise the Lord’ with all the hype and screaming girls to teach anybody anything? Hillsong should be ashamed of once again ‘merchandising’ the gospel.
This is just more of the Celebrity Cult capitalizing on a supposed conversion of a vulnerable and still impressionable young man, who wouldn’t know if the book is for salvation or self help at this point!
He may be on top of alot of things, but certainly not preaching from a pulpit.

Faith in Christ is more than just a few outward observations. Let’s pray he finds the truth despite Hillsong’s best efforts

what can you say to this, but its most certainly not of God. Its just another way of a church using the world to gain fame and fortune and to bring a false doctrine to those with itching ears. When the first one of us had only been a christian for a yr, and we were in a small church . We were thinking of leaving it, which we did for a church where there were people our own age. So we could find some christian friends. As this church was full of oldies and married people with young kids, and no one our age and single.Anyways when we told the pastor and his wife about this, the wife came to us a few days later, and offered us a youth pastoral role in the church for the 7 young kids within the church, saying God wanted us to take this role. BTW this wife was the one counseling us. There is no way God was behind what she was saying. We were a new christian, who had come out of all sorts of turmoil and was still dealing with it. The sra hadn’t even been exposed yet, and we had many many alters inside still cult and on satan’s side. So there is no way God would of chosen us for that role. After praying to God , the few alters who were christian in the bod, knew not to accept the role. They also knew why it was offered. It was not offered because we were youth pastor material and that was Gods chosen ministry for us.It was offered to keep us from leaving the church. We had the good sense to take it to the Lord in prayer and seek his wisdom and truth on the matter, and not accept the offer. Bieber should do the same. Because there is no way God would choose him to be a lay preacher anywhere, right now. God did not orchestrate this , satan and man did. God cant and will not anoint what he did not put at the pulpit ,and choose himself. Too many preachers, teachers, evangelists, and even watchmen are self appointed. Or given their ministry cause its a job for the boys,or nepotism plays a part. This just shows where hillsong is really at doesn’t it. Using someone famous who hasn’t yet proven any true repentance or Holiness etc to get more people to the church or more money. And why is Biebs gonna be asking for donations. That is just off, The guy is loaded and we mean loaded. Just donate his own money, instead of expecting little tweens, teens and their families to give,if he really wants to help. One day this church will be judged, and Babylon will fall ,just as the bible said it would.
Makes no sense except it’s Hillsong – worldly church promoting in worldly methods
@Lance goodall.
I thank God everyday and every other day that He opened my eyes to the truth about Hillsong. After being their 4 years. It’s still heartbreaking to me that many of my close friends refuse to see the truth about Hillsong and believe its a ”God inspired church” …which it is not.
Thank you for setting up this website. A year ago I stumbled across it while in search for the truth about Hillsong and what is going on around the world.
@One of Gods True Warriorrs. I have read almost all of you comments on all of the posts. You are so wise. And articulate you’re option so well.
And you were right about so many things (I always do and do my own independent research as well). I looked up the meaning of The Feasts celebrated in Leviticus 23. And once I had done all my research I found no reason to ever want to go back to celebrating a pagan holiday like easter…No!
Am preparing myself and my family to celebrate Passover this year. Their is so much history.
Have a blessed day!!
Thanks Angel,
I am appeciative that my site has been helpful to someone. One must realise that Hillsong fits the popular culture so it will always be seen in that light, that its making Christianity relevant again.
Although in part this is true, that have popularised and culturalised the gospel, to the point that Jesus is now just a guy who’s there to love and accept you…
Praise the Lord that he showed you the truth even though your friends did not. This is always hard
God bless
How judgemental Christains can be. Have we learned anything from the bible? Jesus? Or have we become just like the pharesies of that time? Who are we to measures someones faith, calling, or walk with God? Let us not forget the apostles. Saul persecuted Christians but found favor with God and was renamed Paul. Peter didnt accept that he was reborn because of his sin and killing of Steven. So who are we to say Justin is not reborn or repented. No one is without sin. All have come short of his glory. Instead of condemning this man for his past ppl should nurture him to live and continue to do right. This is the seperation and destruction of the church and by that i mean, the body of Christ
Toni,
The judgmental card has long since worn out. The point you make about Paul is accurate. However, your deduction is completely wrong. Because Paul (previously Saul) no longer continued in his life of pharisee, persecuting the church, but became a new man, an apostle to the gentiles.
A profession of faith is hardly enough to bring a life out of darkness. Conferences, baptisms, and bible studies are purely window dressing. Read my article https://coercioncode.com/2015/08/24/justin-bieber-still-aligned-to-the-illuminati/ before throwing anymore ‘religious mud’.
