The revelation has come out that a homosexual couple at Hillsong had been involved in their music ministry – one a choir director, the other a choir member – (source link) and according to them “nothing has changed” (source link) since they revealed their homosexuality to Hillsong NYC, Brian Houston made some grossly contradictory statements to the press (source link) recently.
Keep in mind, this contradicts the initial press story and the words of the homosexual that “nothing had changed” (source link – and if the screenshot below is too small, just click it and it will take you to the source).
‘I need to be truthful with everyone.’ I became truthful with my church. I’m a part of Hillsong NYC. I’m one of their choir directors. I also sing on their Worship team. They’ve been amazing as well. Nothing has changed there now that I’m completely out and with Reed. He sings in the choir as well. I found that being an honest person has actually come with a lot of benefits. People are more sincere with you, and you find out a lot more about other people when you become honest.”
So, it’s Houston’s word versus their word. Okay. But consider this…
Online sources reveal the CBS show, Survivor, (in which they were filmed as a couple) filmed well before the above cited statement to the press (source link). Did Hillsong NYC leadership not know their choir director and his lover were starring in a reality show as a couple? Like, nobody knew that?
Well, today the couple spoke out in a Tweet to correct Houston’s account – or at least had the effect of correcting Houston’s account (click screenshot below for full tweet)…
One had been a member at Hillsong for 8 years. Another one had been involved for 3. According to them (who both signed the letter), they were “open and forthright about [their] relationship from the get-go” (source link).
Pleeeeease. Tell me again about how “Lentz has dealt with this.” And tell me that Houston is anything but confused (best case) or outright lying (worst case).
From what we can see, the facts seem to be:
- The homosexual couple had been attending/serving for 8 years and 3 years, respectively.
- The homosexual couple had been open about their homosexuality and/or homosexual relationship “from the beginning.”
- One of the homosexuals had hosted a “connect group” in their home, even while they were “open and forthright” about their homosexuality “from the beginning.”
- The homosexual couple starred – as a couple – in a realty show long before the aforementioned press announcement.
- The homosexual couple stated that “nothing has changed” since coming out to Hillsong leadership.

When any church makes friends with the world, to impress them, welcome them ,accept them, get money from them,show them that christians are just like them,get their approval then that church is in trouble. The bible clearly says when we make friends with the world, we become an enemy of Gods. Because we cant be friends with world and do all we can to gain their approval and their way of living without sinning against God. Hillsong and others who continually show themselves to be lovers of worldly things more than God.Will find out in the end that Gods judgement is so much worse than what any christian has said and done over the yrs in order to try and reach them with Gods truth.
Hillsong in America is a sham .Its not a church of God at all. It’s a play house for people who want to make they have some form of spirituality without having to give up sins.
Guess they just never read their bibles. They may read the false occultic one called the Message. Where Gods truth has so been distorted to suit modern christians and their lust for sin.Hillsong America prides itself on being able to reach the rich and famous and loves having all sorts of ungodly people in their midst to show how accepting,loving,kind, amazing etc they are.But if all they are doing is accepting and loving these people and flaunting them to the flock, without truly discipling them to become true christians, its all just dross to God. And the bible is clear on what God does to the dross. Either Hillsong and Houston has lied or the gays have. Either way, if these gays have been in their midst for so many yrs without any change in their sinful nature, then Hillsong is still missing the mark on what a church is supposed to be, and what the bible Gods Word is supposed to do. Guess they haven’t read 2 Timothy 3 :16 that often.

yes with famous people headlining the show, being used to attract others to the cult. No longer is Gods Word, the Lords death for mankind’s sin. and showing people the need for a Saviour, the need for repentance due to their sin, and the reality of hell is being used.Instead fame,fortune,worldly entertainment, worldly dress and worldly talk to reach those who really believe the word sin is a dirty evil word. How many of these people even understand about the end times, and know anything about it. How many of them are being prepared for it by this church, and the many others like it. How many are truly repentant of every sin they have done, and are doing , enough to desire to give them up for God.How many of them know what God himself teaches about homosexuality, and are truly against it, solely from Gods point of view. How many of these type of pastors are even willing to speak against all the sins the bible talks about, or are they too afraid to lose the money the govt and others give them. How many of these type of churches, will still allow the many preachers and pastors, who now willingly accept homosexuality and gay marriage as normal and right, to speak at their churches and conferences, and will still accept their prophecies into their lives and their churches. God said there would be apostasy, and that it had to come ,and there had to be a great falling away,in order for the antichrist to come.
And its been evident since the last 90s, early 2000’s ,that the falling away has come to pass, and that in every yr that gets us closer to the NWO & antichrist reign,the falling away gets worse and worse, as churches continue to embrace ungodly people in their midst, ungodly leaders running the churches, and ungodly teachings to fool the masses. The saddest thing of all, is the many loyal followers of these churches, who blindly follow them, as if the pastors are Yeshua himself, and give the pastors more of their time ,loyalty and devotion than Yeshua. That they hang off the every word of these pastors,instead of the Word of God. And that they will ferociously defend them, against any christian who speaks the truth about the errors of these pastors and their churches.The church is soooo far removed from what God himself called it to be, because its focus is not on what God told it to be, But we guess many many pastors and their flock will only realise their error ,come judgement day,Because sin has truly got a hold of their heart, that the Holy Spirit can no longer convict. There will be just as many carnal christians who go to these type of churches ending up in hell especially from these modern times, as there will be people who never attended a church or professed any form of christianity at all. And they will have no one to blame but themselves.
