Sometimes our lives go through a tailspin. We don’t know why certain things occur, or why trials seem to go on for a long while, or when one drama ends, another begins.

I was reminded of this song today. (see Youtube clip below)

 

 

Touching Heaven Changing Earth is the seventh album in the live praise and worship series of Christian Contemporary music by Hillsong Church. I will bless you Lord is the 11th Track on the album.

As I listen to this song it reminds me of the years that have past, but also of  the much encouragement I gained through the years whenever I listened to it. It’s simple yet complete. Worship that seems genuine….

Unfortunately it shows how far Hillsong have drifted in some 16 years

I am also reminded of the words of our Lord Jesus;

“But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5‘Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place– unless you repent.” – Rev 2:4,5

So have we left our first love? What or who has taken the Lord’s place?
