21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
Located in downtown Los Angeles, The Belasco is the new home of Ben Houston and the leadership team from Hillsong, otherwise known as ‘Hillsong LA. They have been there since May 2014, the first service was on the 11th.
The Belasco is a multi-purpose event and entertainment venue. Founded in 1904, the building has a long and rich history having served as a theater, burlesque venue, church, and filming location. After a grand restoration in 2011, however, the theater was transformed into the venue it is today,while offering multiple floor plan design options for events.
The historic Main Theater includes three fully accessible bars, Belasco Cafe, Grill Fresco (opening in April), a multi-tiered stadium-style balcony seating, 2,000+ sq. ft. outdoor smoking-friendly patios, and a ballroom with private entry access. The theater also houses the BELASCO Nightclub, Bar & Lounge and VINTAGE 10 FIFTY Wine Bar. Belasco Theater has a full spectrum of sophisticated sound and lighting equipment, offering a state-of-the-art collection of audio visual technology for superb quality and optimum efficiency to bring all aspects of production under one roof.

The Belasco boasts a 2,500-person capacity and features a main theater, ballroom, nightclub and lounge, wine bar, and two restaurants.

One young man’s thoughts;
This is really a dynamic church that is affiliated with the world renown Hillsong Church based in Sydney, Australia. They are currently holding their services in the Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. I’ve never been to the Belasco before so it was a good opportunity to be able to see the ornate architectured ceiling inside. It’s a dance club at night so it makes it interesting.
Hillsong was made internationally known for their Sydney worship team that had put out many worship albums and so worship teams in churches all over the world would play and still play their music during their service. The music here is great too and they had just put out a new album recently which I intend to purchase at my first opportunity.
The church welcoming committee is really cool. It seems all the volunteers greet you with a warm smile, wave or handshake which makes you feel really welcome and loved.
The message was very good and something I’ve been looking for, for a really, really long time. It was both encouraging and thought provoking.
Parking is $5 in the multiple lots adjacent and across the street. They have services at 11 am, 5:30 pm and another one at 8 pm. I’m told the 11 am and 5:30 pm services both share the same messages but the message for the 8 pm service is different. They have mid week services at four different locations around town such as DTLA, Hollywood, Orange County and Glendale. You can get the exact locations by sending them an email on their website.
If you visit here or start attending, I truly believe your life will be changed for the better. I’m so thankful I felt lead to come visit today. It was my first visit but will definitely not be my last.

When any place is going to be used to get people to sin and indulge in satan’s ways, then satanic prayers are prayed over it and demons invoked. And the place is dedicated to satan.So would the Lord want his house to be a place he already knows has been dedicated and taken over by satan for people to indulge in sin. no wonder the sort of gospel that is being preached there is. The demons must be laughing their heads off from the rafters as they watch, both the sins of the nightclubs,bars and so called church go on. One wonders if these christians that attend there, would even be able to discern the demons in their midst. Somehow we don’t think so .
Mmm…a sobering thought. I watched a video clip found on this blog, which talked about demons attaching themselves to people at concerts, and shows.
The theatre has been opened for over a century, and in its time it was known for its burlesque. Teasing without stripping? And so the place has been a place of darkness, and still is.
So why does Hillsong consider it a place for honour,when clearly the Lord will disown such a venue. His spirit will be quenched if not grieved. Or have we forgotten…
‘what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Hmm…seems to me Jesus was criticized for having dinner with sinners and tax collectors.

I think you mean the person on this site shouldn’t be throwing stones or criticise what is going on at Hillsong.
Cause whatever Hillsong does is always for Jesus and the spread of the gospel….right?
But if we read our bibles, we are told to test or prove our faith.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that you shall know that we are not reprobates. – 2 Cor 13:5
And so we write these things;
For we are glad, when we are weak, and you are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord has given me to edification, and not to destruction. – 2 Cor 13:9,10
