Popular Pentecostal church Hillsong acquires two Gold Coast chapels after successful trial run

Hillsong is setting up on the Gold Coast.
MEGA church Hillsong will expand to the Gold Coast to accommodate a growing number of worshippers from the area.
The popular Pentecostal church has expanded to the city after an invitation from Vanessa and Andrew Hoyes to move their Generation Churches at Burleigh and Upper Coomera into the Hillsong stable.
Yesterday Hillsong Queensland Pastor Steve Dixon said the opportunity was too good for the church to ignore, since it intended to open up on the Gold Coast eventually.
“We expected to come to the Gold Coast at some point, given the size of the population there,” he said.

“People come from as far away as Byron Bay.”
Hillsong attracted about 2000 people for a trial run at the Arts Centre Gold Coast on Sunday, headed by high-profile church leader Pastor Brian Houston and its popular youth band Young & Free.
From this Sunday (since Oct ), the church, under Pastor James Turner and his wife Elida, will move into Generation’s rebranded Burleigh Heads and Upper Coomera properties.
Hillsong is in the process of purchasing the Upper Coomera building and taking over the lease for Burleigh, according to Pastor Dixon.
One of Hillsong’s biggest churches is in Mt Gravatt, where they have a congregation of 6000.
They opened in Brisbane’s CBD in April and were founded in Australia in 1983.
While Hillsong is headquartered in Sydney, it has international offshoots all around the world, including New York City, where pop star Justin Bieber often attends.
Pastor Dixon said he expected the church’s Gold Coast congregation to build quickly, once word got out about Hillsong’s move into the city.
“Most of the people that join Hillsong are not part of a church currently,” he said.
“So it is not so much about how many Pentecostal churches are on the Gold Coast now, but how many people live there that might become worshippers with us.”
Mr Hoyes said Generation had an “amazing 10 years on the Gold Coast”, building the congregation to 1500 people and establishing the Soul Centre outreach service.
“We are sad to go,” Mr Hoyes said.
“We will be starting from scratch again in Montreal.”
The change according to the young couple,“came as a complete ‘suddenly’ since our hearts were now knitted to this place and her people on the Gold Coast. However, entrusting our church to Hillsong as they launch on the Gold Coast is win-win for the Kingdom and we love that”*
After Hillsong’s move into the Coast the church will have almost 60 services around Australia every Sunday.

Never mind his fruit. So according to this pastor, as long as you sing gospel songs, believe the Lord exists, and and have an anointed voice, you are saved. Also this same pastor believes any person who believes billy graham is a mason(which he is) but according to this pastor, cause Billy has denied it, he cant possibly be on. Yep cause Billy Graham is gonna come out, and admit to the world he is really on satans side, and is part of the illuminati lol. What part of an angel of light to these type of christians and pastors just not get. The bible is clear satan can appear as an angel of light, and so do his ministers. Then this pastor called anyone who believes in any conspiracy, a peanut head with a peanut brain.
Wonder what he is gonna say, when he stands before God, and God reveals to him ,all the conspiracies which weren’t theories ,but fact. who will feel like a peanut then hey . Never mind the rest of the garbage we read him saying. and who he retweets on his twitter and believes is Godly. Just goes to show how easy it is for satan to fool the masses of christians world wide, into foillowing him and trusting in his people. Boy the church world wide is in for the biggest shock come judgement day. And we say bring it on God, bring it on. Because we are sooooo sick and tired of their lies, their false doctrines, their retweeting,following and quoting people who are part of the illuminati. Another pastor of a church we went to , not Paradise AOG, though retweets the pope all the time and, in this last week, put a quote by Tolkien. It just doesn’t matter to these people who they quote and follow anymore.
As long as it sounds good to them,and sounds inspirational they preach it,and teach it, to their dumbed down followers. And aint it amazing how many no longer even call themselves pastors.They calls themselves inspirational leaders, motivational speakers,christian success coach etc. What must God himself be thinking, of what these people have done to what was supposed to be his church and his flock But we guess its truly showing who is a sheep and who is a goat. And we know God is only coming back for his true church and we sure know what is is gonna do to all the goats.

Was Elvis Presley a Christian?
YES! There is no doubt in my mind Elvis was saved. He loved Jesus and no other man on this earth had a more anointed voice for singing the gospel. When I toured Graceland in Memphis, I was listening to a tape of Priscilla Presley who revealed that Elvis kept gospel music on in his home nearly all the time and prayed daily! I am looking forward to meeting him in Heaven someday!
Elvis may of prayed daily, but to whom. He may of had an incredible voice, and even sang gospel songs. but does that mean he was saved.
God says by their fruits you will know them. and not by what they sing or how good they sing it etc
Elvis was part of the illuminati and his handler was his manager. Elvis did sing gospel songs, but his lifestyle certainly was not christian. So whether he was indeed saved when he died, we will reserve that judgement for when we get to heaven. Lance what is scary with this pastor saying he most definitely was, is that Elvis’s lifestyle was very ungodly, and there is lots of info about it via the web. So this pastor could easily influence young people especially, that it doesn’t matter what you do in your life in terms of sin, all that matters is that you sing gospel songs,or listen to them, and pray. Many people in this world pray. But it doesn’t mean they are praying to the one true God. And the bible says only the prayers of a righteous man availeth much. A great voice does not mean you are anointed by God.It just means God gave you an amazing talent and gift. A truly anointed voice is a voice that sings to Glorify God only, and not themselves. That is the voice that God himself anoints. Just because a person can have an amazing voice, if they aren’t using it to glorify God, then that talent is being wasted, and its dross to the Lord. The question is this how many people did Elvis bring to the Lord by his talent that God gave him, as against how many people worshipped and idolised Elvis instead cause of his voice. Considering he was an idol of millions world wide, think the answer for that is pretty clear.
